ABOUT

a mESSAGE FROM OUR FOUNDER…

I’ve worked as a firefighter for the better part of 17 years, here on the Plateau. In 2011, I was hired as a career firefighter with Enumclaw Fire Department. Over the last 13 years, I have had the amazing opportunity to build our public education program and I quickly found my passion is working and connecting with kids…

“Be who you needed when you were younger.”  Is a quote that is often reiterated amongst ourselves as we continue to build Plateau Kids Network.

With the overwhelming local statistics on teen drug and alcohol use and the rising rates of anxiety, depression and suicide, our vision is simple….Bridge the gap between home and help.

Plateau Kids Network was built on a need.  We saw a need in our community’s youth to be supported and inspired to help them build a life where they can THRIVE…

We are achieving that by introducing programs, activities and events that make connections to role models in the community, promote community service, offer leadership opportunities, teach drug & alcohol prevention, and show the benefits of leading a life of health and wellness.

We believe that every child has endless value and potential and given the opportunity, inspiration and support they, too, can THRIVE.
