Plateau Free Helmet Campaign

Kids that wear a helmet, every time they bike, skate, or roll have a reduced risk of brain injury and death from a traumatic brain injury up to 88%!

Plateau Free Helmet Campaign and Safe Rider Citations are working together with local community members and role models to positively reinforce the habit of wearing a helmet-every ride!

Plateau Free Helmet Campaign offers new, bike or skateboard helmets to children (age 0-18) who are in-need of a helmet and reside in Enumclaw.

Helmets are available at:

Rainier Foothills Wellness Foundation
1304 Griffin Avenue Enumclaw 98022
M-F 9am-3pm

Children must be accompanied by an adult to receive a free helmet.
Helmets are free. Donations are greatly appreciated so we can continue to provide helmets to all
Enumclaw children, in-need.

Safe Rider Citations are the best kind of citation to receive! Safe Rider Citations are gift cards for local ice cream treats, handed out by Enumclaw police officers and Enumclaw firefighters. When not busy with emergency calls, the police officers and firefighters will be out looking for kids riding safely and wearing helmets!

Plateau Free Helmet Campaign and Safe Rider Citations runs successfully due to the generous donations from our community. We accept new, CPSC certified bike and skateboard helmets, in all sizes. Donations can be dropped off at the Enumclaw Fire Department, Enumclaw Police Department and the Rainier Foothills Wellness Foundation during business hours.

Plateau Free Helmet Campaign is endorsed by the City of Enumclaw and the Enumclaw City Council and the Wear It For Berrett Foundation. Plateau Free Helmet Campaign partners with Enumclaw Fire Department, the Enumclaw Police Department, Rainier Foothills Wellness Foundation, Runlands Grocery and Avalanche Delite.
