THRIVE

Does your student enjoy connecting to peers and role models in the community? THRIVE might be right for them! THRIVE is a student-led, school-based club that promotes connection and wellness in youth with an emphasis on preventing drug and alcohol use/abuse.

THRIVE Club Mission: To help empower students to thrive by creating an inviting and inclusive environment that encourages wellness and meaningful connections to peers and role models in the community with an emphasis on preventing substance use through Recognition, Resistance, & Resilience.

THRIVE’s pilot program kicked off in Spring of 2023 with great success! The pilot program ran for 6 weeks and integrated speakers and community role models to interact with the students on subjects such as Prevention, Wellness, Personal Safety/Self Defense and more!

The club guides students to make meaningful connections with peers and community role models, empowers them to make choices that promotes wellness, guides them down a path of alcohol and drug use/abuse prevention and helps them to become leaders and role models through meaningful connections and community service projects! THRIVE conveniently pairs with Prevention Week with students leading the marketing designs throughout their school!

Club meetings are hosted at school, either during or after school, and include fun activities, food and treats, valuable life skills and amazing connections to student and adult role models in the school and community!
